1. 主語+謂語（不及物動詞vi）
即是動詞本身就能表達所需要的意思，則不需要賓語及補語。常有副詞，表時間或地點的短語或從句修飾。
注：不及物動詞無被動語態。
例句：they dress richly(副詞).
you can go wherever you want.(表地點的)
the sun rises in the east and sets in the west.(短語)
we went to the supermarket yesterday.(時間)
2. 主語+謂語（及物動詞vt）+賓語 （代詞，名詞，動名詞，動詞不定式，賓語從句，短語可作賓語）
很多不及物動詞後面加上介詞後，可變為及物動詞組，後面即可帶賓語，而且有被動語態，但要注意介詞需要保留。
we should pay attention to the problem.(主動)
the problem should be paid attention to.(被動)
除名詞，代詞可為賓語外，動詞不定式，動名詞，名詞短語和從句也可作賓語，叫做賓語從句。
3.(1)主語+謂語（及物動詞vt）+間接賓語（人）+直接賓語（物）
the dress cost her a lot money.
(2)主語+謂語（及物動詞vt）+直接賓語+間接賓語
he g**e me 2 yuan.
he g**e 2 yuan to me.
he bought me a book.
he bought a book for me.
(3).兩個代詞之間作賓語時，直接賓語在前+介詞+間接賓語。
he g**e it to me.
4.主語+系動詞（be或半系動詞）+表語（說明主語的句子成分）
i am a teacher. （名詞）
she is beautiful. （形容詞）
the light is on/off. （副詞）
i am reading/hurt. （分詞）
my job is teaching. （動名詞）
that is why he went away. （從句）
i am in the room. （介詞短語）
5. 主語+謂語（及物動詞vt）+賓語+賓語補主語（補充說明賓語狀況）（名詞，形容詞，副詞，動名詞，動詞不定式可作賓語補主語）
we must keep our classroom clean.
